The Benefits of Same-Day Crowns

Saves Time

Unlike traditional crowns that require at least two dental visits, same-day crowns save you time. You can have your damaged tooth restored in just one appointment, and you won't have to schedule another visit a few weeks later.

Highly Accurate

Same-day crowns use 3D imaging and CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and manufacturing) technology, which allows for highly precise and accurate results. This ensures that your same-day crowns fit your teeth properly, and that your bite is restored to its natural state.

Natural Looking

Same-day crowns are made from high-quality materials that are virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth. The crowns are color-matched to your existing teeth, providing a seamless match and natural-looking smile. Additionally, same-day crowns take into account the unique features of your mouth and bite, ensuring a comfortable and personalized fit.

The Same-Day CEREC Crown Treatment Process

Same-Day crowns follow a similar treatment process to their lab-made counterparts, but all in a single visit!

01. Consultation and Preparation

Dr. Poreddy will begin with a thorough examination of the affected tooth or teeth, using x-rays and other imaging techniques to assess the extent of the damage. Once a diagnosis is made and a treatment plan is established, she will then prepare the tooth or teeth for the placement of the crown. This may involve shaping the tooth or removing any decayed or damaged areas.

02. Crown Creation

Using advanced computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology, Dr. Poreddy will then create a custom crown that fits perfectly over the prepared tooth. This eliminates the need for a traditional goopy impression and allows for greater precision and accuracy in crafting the crown. The crown is typically made of high-quality ceramic material, which is both strong and can be color-matched to blend seamlessly with your smile.

03. Placement and Finishing Touches

Once the crown is ready, it will be placed over the affected tooth and adjusted as needed to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. The crown is then permanently bonded to the tooth using a powerful dental adhesive. Dr. Poreddy will make any final adjustments or polishing required to ensure that the crown looks and feels natural.
